Salvage Math helps you examine your decisions. It does not treat the person you love.

The person using substances is not the client. The focus is what you will continue to provide, tolerate, risk, require, or withdraw.

What Salvage Math is for

Reconstructing what actually happened across repeated crises and rescues.
Comparing promises with what happened afterward.
Making family costs visible, including money, housing, time, trust, sleep, work, and relationships.
Setting a clear standard for what must be different before another major sacrifice.
Thinking through Help, Boundary, or Exit without assuming one answer fits every family.

It is not addiction treatment, therapy, counseling, or clinical care.
It does not diagnose addiction, mental illness, personality, motives, or intent.
It does not provide medical advice, legal advice, treatment placement, or intervention services.
It does not predict whether another person will recover.
It does not make the final family decision for you.

Salvage Math is not an emergency or crisis-response service. If there is immediate danger, use the emergency services available where you are.

You cannot control whether they change. You can control what you continue to sacrifice.

The purpose is not to make you colder. It is to help you make a consequential decision with the history still visible.
